Since I became a mother – sleep is a long forgotten subject for me. Even when the kid grew up a little bit and was able to sleep through the night – I know that I wasn’t. A friend of my aunt, who lives in the village where my mother’s family originates, told me about this natural sleeping pill. It isn’t a pill, it is a mixed drink with simple ingredients. I didn’t believe her when I heard that the only ingredients were the casual stuff most of us eats on a daily bases. But, after I tried it, actually, after 3 days of having this drink every night, I was finally able to sleep through the night. Here are the ingredients:
- 1 Cucumber, pealed off
- 1 Ginger
- 1 lemon, squeezed
- 1 Green apple
- 9 pieces of asparagus (9 pieces)
- 2 Celery stalks
How to make it?
In the start, soak the asparagus pieces in cold water, for about an hour. Then, chop the peeled cucumber, then pour the lemon juice from the squeezed lemon, the peeled ginger, the whole celery sticks and also, the chopped pieces of apple into a blender and blend them until they combine. Wash the asparagus from the water it was soaked in and put it in the blender and blend once more.
