The breakfast that makes you lose weight and cholesterol

Have you ever heard the expression that the breakfast is the most important meal of the day?

My grandmother, who, if she was alive, would turned 88 this year, always said:

“The breakfast – eat it yourself.

The lunch – share it with your enemy.

The dinner – give it all to your enemy.”

Why? Because our metabolism is faster in the morning. It is relaxed and actually, it has spent over the energy while sleeping (because you still use energy in your sleep). And, if you have a habit to drink coffee (even more, cigarettes) in the morning, it is absolutely necessary to eat something first, because the coffee seriously harms the stomach, if it is empty.  Also, skipping breakfast makes you less energetic, causing your first meal in the day to be higher in sugars and carbs, and also, people who skip breakfast have a tendency to overeat during the day.

In today’s article I’m presenting you a delicious breakfast that boosts your metabolism and thinking , but not only that! This dish actually lowers your cholesterol levels and blood sugar, and makes your body to lose weight!


  • 1 cup of oats
  • 4 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon


Pour the 2cups of water in a pot, add the cinnamon. When the water comes to a boiling point, lower the heat and add the oats. Boil for additional 50-10 minutes and when you’re finished, turn the heat off and take the pot out of the heat, let it cool off for additional 15 minutes, to get thicker. Add the chia seeds and the honey when the meal is a bit cooled off, because high temperatures destroy all the nutrients and benefits in the honey.
