Pizza is god – sent food. I still haven’t met anyone who would say no to a slice of pizza. However, all that flour and cheese, as well as the pepperoni and salami, in it makes it one of the most “heavy meals”, pumped with calories and carbs, masked behind that amazing blend of flavors.
Here’s a recipe for the healthiest variation of pizza!
Use tuna or some other fish meat, which is rich with omega 3 acids – or, also known as “the belly fat burning acids”. If you ask me, use canned tuna, because it is absolutely proven to have the smoothest taste! Here are the other ingredients:\
- 300 grams tuna – best is to use canned tuna
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 200 grams of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package softened cream cheese
- integral flour pre-baked frozen pizza crust
- Tomato sauce
And the rest of the magic is in your hands! In case you have forgotten to make a pizza, here’s the order of ingredients: first,, put tomato sauce all over the pizza crust – just skip the edges. Then, spread the tuna all over the crust, but make sure to dry it from the oil before that. Then comes the softened cream cheese together with the onion slices and the oregano. Bake it in a pre-heated oven on 220C for about 10 minutes, and in the end, add the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Voila! Btw, have I mentioned that this is an original Italian recipe – you may find it everywhere in Naples.
Enjoy your healthy pizza – but don’t eat double the regular portion!
