DIY nasal and sinus infection remedy

There are a lot of recipes you can find online for almost everything health related. For a single cure offered to buy in the pharmacy – you can find a dozen recipes that you can make home from scratch!

This recipe i’m sharing with you today, I’ve tried on my own skin and my child’s sensitive nose – he’s only 2 years old. To all mothers, especially the freshly born mothers – don’t ever try pharma solutions on your kid – natural and homemade ones are always better. Plus, you get to save some money and protect you child from an unwanted reaction or infection to some chemical substance. And trust me, not all substances are written on the back of the cure – the pharmacy has many secrets to protect!

  • 1 small cup of honey (espresso cup)
  • 1 small cup of lemon juice – freshly squeezed
  • 5 to 7 radishes
  • 1 small onion (buy purple if you have the chance)
  • 6 garlic cloves – pealed off

How to prepare it:

Stir the vegetables, but just a little – we want all the substances to keep their beneficial ingredients and vitamins. Then rinse them and add them in a blender along with the honey and the lemon juice. Let the mixture cool off completely before you put it in a jar and store it in the fridge – but don’t freeze it!

The maximum dose for a child is 1 tablespoon per day. If there is any reaction – whether it is an allergic reaction or a beneficial reaction regarding the problem with the sinuses – it will be noticeable in the first 24 hours.  Adults can take 2 tablespoons per day.
