Aloe Vera is a world famous plant – mostly for the healing properties of the gel that is making from it, for internal use and promoting the health of the gastrological system. But, Aloe Vera is also kept for its beauty – as a room plant and succulent for decor.
But did you know that you can also use your Aloe Vera room plant for beauty products that you can do it yourself at your house?
Here are the three most effective home made Aloe Vera beauty gels, each for different purpose. And believe me when I tell you they’re effective – each season I buy a new Aloe Vera plant (older than 2 years) and make these awesome gels, since nothing that I buy from the store is as effective!
- Moisturizing – Aloe Vera, honey and rose water pack First of all, pick a really big Aloe Vera leaf and pick it out from the plant right from the beginning – don’t crush it on half! The most beneficiary ingredients are right next to the stem of the Aloe Vera plant. Than, peal the green skin and let the gel on room temperature – it will become a liquid gel. Take 4 tbsp from it and add inside the following ingredients: a tbsp of honey, a tbsp of milk, a pinch of ground turmeric and a few drops of rose water. Moisturize your neck and face with this mixture.
- Tan removing – Aloe Vera, lemon juice and cucumber Pick an Aloe Vera leaf and extract the gel from it, as explained previously. Than, in 4 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel left on room temperature, add 4 tbsp of lemon juice and 6 tbsp of the juice from the squeezed cucumber. Apply on your sun burnt places, mostly the soft skin on your neck and face and leave it for about half an hour. Rinse afterwards. This is useful for both – removing tan and treating sunburns.
- Anti acne marks and blemishes – Aloe Vera and olive oil
To treat spots on your face, tiny freckles (that are not since birth) as well as marks that big unwanted acne left on your soft skin, mix 4 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel with a tbsp of virgin olive oil. Apply the mixture all over the face and rinse off with warm almost cold water after half an hour.
